How a correction makes it onto this page
- A reader, source, or our own editor flags an error.
- The editor verifies against a primary source.
- The article is updated. The "Updated" date and the version-control history both move.
- An entry is added below with the date, the article, what was wrong, what's now correct, and the source that prompted the fix.
